Worst flight ever.

I'm watching a stupid movie about passengers on a plane, passenger has epileptic fit and dies. Stewardess "is there a dr on board?"

About 10 yrs after my residency I'm flying back to LA. Woman goes into labor. Yes you ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FLY in wks 28-36. But she wanted to be home. I go to the woman, no other drs. We go back to the last galley, they put a blanket on the floor she lies down. I do a history, shes at 30 weeks. I'm not sure which of us more scared. I'd delivered 12-14 babies but all in a hospital. Sterile towels, autoclaved instruments, etc. Procedures for dealing with the mess.
Mercifully, I get her relaxed, slow her breathing and we make it to LA, Shes met by medical staff, whisked off and delivers in a hospital.

I pounded down 2 doubles in 10 minutes, grateful things worked out like they did.

Not unlike my feeling after watching 2 L's in todays games.

It’s weird how airlines can vary to each individual. I was thinking the same as bjack, then you mention that you have issues with American. I’ve been using American, 90% of the time over the past 16 years. Every single time I have used SWest, I had issues. Only a handful with American. To be honest, they all have sucked since Covid. Flying has become so brutal. Especially the staff in the airport.
